Portable THC-Hydra Androiod App

 

This is a portable application for android that allows your device to install hydra, Once hydra is installed it allows you to issue hydra based commands.

 

Its all coded as a single c++ file and compiled into a android application using - C4droid

 

 

The program works by downloading a compiled ARM binary version of thc-hydra and moves the file to a folder with execution rights. It then chmods hydra to be run by the shell and asked for user input to run agenst hydra. The code detects if hydra was already downloaded and installed when running so it only requires a 1 time download when first running app.

 

 

This requires your android device is rooted and is running off a ARM kernal which 90% of android devices are. Also because this uses no external resources some devices may not be able to download hydra via curl. But curl is installed by default on most android systems.
