goldregister Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) Zeus control panel getting owned within 60 seconds There are some powerfull tools on the internet and one of them is a tool which is capable of detecting and accessing Zeus control panels within 60 seconds. The tool is demonstrated in the video which has been released by the cybercrime-tracker.org workgroup. Zeus is a malicious application which is used by cybercriminals to create and command multiple computers at once. The computers that have been infected with the Zeus malware are then used by the criminals to DDoS specific targets. The botnet is also used to retrieve (financial) credentials from the infected computers. In the video below you will see how it is possible to control a Zeus botnet within 60 seconds. The video has been released for educational purposes as a lot of security experts are trying to get a better understanding on how similar botnets work and are being managed.
