Plecost retrieves the information contained in the Web site you want to analyze, and also allows a search on the results indexed by Google.

 

He bases his analysis on the information contained in the files for development including WordPress and its plugins. The list of plugins is generated based on the list "Most Popular" of wordpress.org, together with related entries in CVE.mitre.org WordPress.

 

Plecost is able to work in two modes. On the one hand analyzing a single URL and secondly analyzing the results of Google searches. We will now discuss the most important options.

 

Google search mode

Retrieves information contained in the Google results based on the list of plugin that is given as input.

 

Reload plugin list

Generates a list of plugins from the list "Most popular" WordPress.org.

 

URL mode

Analyses information to a single URL specified as a parameter.
