Tor Expert Package

The tor expert package contains the tor binaries and pluggable transports, bridge strings, and geoip data used in the Tor Browser. The two versions displayed indicate the version of Tor Browser for which these particular binaries were built and the version of the contained tor daemon. These packages are intended for developers who need to bundle tor with their applications.

 

Changes

Below are the major changes of the released versions and links to more detailed release notes.

 

Release Candidate

This is the first rc for the 0.4.8.x series. We fixed a major bug which was an assert crash on Exit relays related to Conflux. Then, only a couple of minor bug fixes.

 

This is looking good for the stable that we plan to release in around 2 weeks and so please keep testing and reporting bugs. Thanks everyone! :slight_smile:
