Locked What got you into hacking?

Personally, it was my cousin's work as an ethical hacker that got me into hacking. I was very interested as after Christmas dinner he would be busy typing away at his computer. I want to learn as I wish to understand what he does. 

My cousin's backstory is that he loved building computers. And when he started building computers he developed a love for technology and eventually coding/hacking.

What are your guys' backstories?

I first go into infosec after finding a version of SubSeven on a warez forum I used to frequent back in the way. 

Then I moved into more web hacking / security but after many years I sort of got bored of web stuff and move into reverse engineering which I have been enjoying for the last few years!

I started hacking myself for watching football matches.

Downloading games I couldnt afford at the time and then thinking I could do this to. But failing miserably.
