darkcloud1
Phishing is one of the online fraud methods and is often used to steal users' personal information, financial information or identity information. This method aims to trick people into revealing their sensitive information in a fake or fraudulent way. Phishing is usually done through communication channels such as email, SMS, phone calls or social media. Here are some commonly used methods of phishing attacks: Fake Email: Attackers send fake emails that impersonate a trusted institution or service. These emails are usually designed to grab the user's attention, highlight an emergency, or offer attractive offers, such as prizes and promotions. The email may contain a link or attachment and the user may be asked to enter their personal information, username and password. Fake Websites: Attackers can create fake websites that mimic a real website. These fake sites are designed to make users enter their login or financial information. For example, a fake bank site might prompt users to enter username, password, or credit card information. SMS Phishing (Smishing): Phishing attacks can also be carried out via text messaging (SMS). Attackers can send users fake SMS, redirecting them to fake websites or requesting personal information. Vishing: This is a type of phishing attack carried out over the phone. Attackers can trick users into giving their bank account information or other sensitive information by making fake phone calls to users.
