Type regedit and hit enter. Confirm the UAC prompt that appears. Navigate to the following folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet Double-click on EnableActiveProbing and change its value from 1 to 0.
